This past weekend I had the pleasure of doing a downtown Cleveland engagement session with one of our 2024 couples, Kailee and Nick! It was a blistering 30 something degrees outside with the wind-chill, but we powered through it! We first met in front of Terminal Tower, which had just been decorated for Christmas. The gorgeous gold doors and older facade makes for a gorgeous backdrop to photograph in front of.
Immediately, Kailee and Nick seemed to be extremely comfortable in front of the camera. From what I was seeing in the back of my camera, the photos looked catalog worthy! They came dressed to impress, and they were both naturals. They were full of laughter and love for each other and you can clearly see that below!
Despite battling the wind coming off Lake Erie, and the frigid temperature, we made our way around the center of downtown Cleveland to continue their engagement session. After we were finished at Terminal Tower, we made our way to an old courthouse downtown. Cleveland has some gorgeous architecture around town and I love taking advantage of it for sessions!
We finalized their engagement session on the top of a nearby parking garage. I know it sounds weird that you’d take photos on top of a garage, but the views you get of downtown Cleveland are amazing! The engagement session truly came full circle when at the end you had gorgeous photos with Terminal Tower in the background.
I had an amazing time with Kailee and Nick! I’m so excited to be photographing their spring wedding in 2024!
