I’d say that we photograph 90% of our weddings in the Cleveland area despite us being from Akron ourselves. I’m also very surprised at the amount of venues and locations in Akron I haven’t photographed yet. Up until our recent wedding, one of these locations is Hale Farm!

We had the pleasure of photographing Morgan and Hayden’s stunning wedding portraits and reception here. I was in awe of how gorgeous the area was, and it gave me the itch to go back and shoot there again. I was quite surprised because Emily and I drive past here all the time! When we take drives through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park we pass it quite often. So when we arrived at Hale Farms and explored the grounds, we couldn’t help but say, “So this is what’s here”??

We first began with details and getting ready photos at the nearby Hilton Hotel. Morgan shared a sweet moment with her bridesmaids as she revealed her stunning dress to them. Meanwhile Hayden hung back with his groomsmen and enjoyed watching some college football pre-game shows.

Once everyone was ready we made our way to the church just down the road from the hotel. They had a gorgeous catholic ceremony at St. Hilary in Akron, Ohio where we’ve done numerous other weddings. After we finished up family formals, we headed to Hale Farm to do their wedding portraits where once again, we were blown away. The entire village was so picturesque and made for a stunning backdrop for portraits.

Their reception took place under a tent decorated with gorgeous florals and other details. Despite some rain that rolled in, the party was a blast and the guests knew how to break it down on the dance floor! We had such a blast photographing this wedding!
