Being a wedding photographer in Northeast Ohio certainly has its perks when you’re shooting an engagement session in Cleveland. One of these perks, is the fact that I have such an amazing array of gorgeous locations and backdrops to choose from. One of these locations is none other than Lakewood Park near Cleveland, OH right off Lake Erie. Here is where I had the pleasure of photographing Emily and Brad’s gorgeous spring engagement session!
Between the Solstice Steps that looked out of the lake and sunset, to the amazing views of downtown Cleveland, it made my job shooting their engagement session a breeze. As you can see in their photos we had an absolute blast during their session. I love when I immediately hit it off with couples and they feel like they can be themselves with me. This is exactly what happened with Emily and Brad. They could be their true authentic self as a couple, and I’m pretty confident the photos show just that!
After we photographed around Lakewood Park, we ended up making our way to Bartleby, a recently opened restaurant in Cleveland with such an amazing vibe! The atmosphere is so unique and it made for some moody, yet romantic photos while Emily and Brad enjoyed a drink together. In all honesty, when they told me they wanted to shoot at this location I was a little nervous considering I haven’t done too many inside moody shot like these, but I couldn’t have been more thrilled with how they turned out!
I might be a little obsessed and looking forward to the next couple who has a similar desire to do some romantic bar photos. So if you’re feeling that…please reach out. 🙂 !
